Hi guys,

I would to have a logo designed for a sport store, SunFit.

Type of Contest : LOGO Design

Prize : $50.00

Contest End Date & Time : 31/05/2012 11.59pm

Size Requirements : Vector

Color Requirements : I am thinking orange, yellow, and green, but am open to other colours

General Requirements : There must be a logo and the word SunFit. However, the logo should be able to be used without the store name, i.e. logo and name must not overlap.

Additional Information : Some logos I like are that of BP for its colours and Sun Life Financial for its 3D look. Total logo is another of my favorites

Hi oniwebs,

I would like to have the words separated from the logo.

My idea is to have a logo that, even when used without the word "SunFit", will have both elements "sun" and "fit" expressed in the logo whether through colours or literal picture.

But keep the entries coming so that I can give more specific feedback

EDIT:
Although I would like to have a Sun represented in it, "Fit" is more flexible. Feel free to use anything you feel best represents it. One example I thought of was using the bird falcon that is drawn as brush strokes, its wings subtly representing an "F". Hope this provides some clarification.

@Gooddesigner: I like your design from all. However, would prefer if the sun is not a splatter. Make the falcon more elegant. Make the wings more majestic (wider maybe?).

@Levute: When I look at it, it looks like a manboob LOL. :lol:

@Oniwebs: the falcon has to be just a simple stroke. Can you try gold instead of orange for the colour theme (Refer to the gold of Singapore Airlines below)

@zawedx: Like the simplicity but need a stronger logo. Maybe try to make the leaves into a shape of an eagle (brushstroke design). Please modify the sun to best fit the design.

Try to avoid green.

@gooddesigner: Thanks for the quick reply! After some thought, it is not exactly what I am looking for. But your design gives me another idea.

Let me refer to: http://graphicriver.net/item/beauty-style-logo/2253159. This particular design is a swan forming a circle. However, I would like to have a phoenix forming a circle.

It would be great if you can make solid gold phoenix, orange phoenix, and fiery phoenix (see below) for comparison.

@gooddesigner: I prefer the logo to be minimalist, no outline, 2D with no shiny effect. Remove the sun from the background.

Can you draw phoenix like

Gooddesigner and dlight have got the concept right! From far the logos look like a sun.

@Gooddesigner: Liking your design the best so far. I will give you some feedback soon.

@dlight: Like the simplicity and the way you make use of shades without making it over complicated as seen in a few of the earliest designs. However, it looks much like an eagle. Maybe include the whole body so that the phoenix is more obvious?

@Gooddesigner: Some minor suggestions. Can you make the claws facing forward? Then, make the tummy just a little slimmer. Also make the beak more obvious with a curve. The plume (feather) at the back of the head has to curve upward.

On the words, also add two words "Pratama Indonesia" underneath Sunfit. The length of "Pratama Indonesia" must be the same as "SunFit".
And try all capitals.
