Color Requirements :
Requirments are to use the colour Orange with black, preffer orange to be a the main colour but willing to see other options.

General Requirements :
The shield as it stands is plain and bland, I need it to stand out beter and look modern.
Prefer to keep the shield design, but could be open to other idea's. Name to be incorporated into the design SilentChaos

Additional Information :
Please find attached 2 images that remain of the origianl shield, SC.gif was a remake as the original was lost, but I never could get the feel for the curved edges the second is a small letterheader that was all that remained of my original design, with sharper edges.

Hi Dlight,

I have had to delete my comments about 3times, as I cant seem to put my finger on what to ask for.

I love the general effect/dirtyness you have done, that is very very nice, The font, am used to just being clean crisp and even in length, so this idea has thrown my brain off as I like it as well!

The shield shape is fine, not sure if changing it to closer resemble the shape I had (the small letter head/BlueOrange style one) would make things feel different. lol

The cross effect is actually growing on me, at first I didnt like it at all, but now am humming and harring to try improve it, I like the second middle peice better, but was thinking maybe it needs a few "layers" i.e make it a bit chunky and look like 2/3 peices, the sides though am unsure, spikes dont feel right(currently)

If possible, I would preffer the name is incorporated into the shield it's self, or for your design even on the cross idea somehow, if you look at BlueOrange, he made it so simple yet effective.

both idea's are very nice and standout, you now make my brain hurt!

nguyen, better, much better over all, I like the sword idea, suppose that goes with my name the font on the name isnt so bad, but the letters on the sheild still dont fit.

Hi Dlight, liking the changes so far, like the name on the top, main thing thats playing on me atm is the style of the S and C not 100% sure if am feeling the uneven shape idea, by chance can you try the same effects/colour etc but with the original image style/BueOrange font please?

other than that, am thinking it's looking great!

getting better, the SC still needs work a bit more, the inside of the letters are curved where as the outside are now sharp, any chance you can make the swords look more rough/used as they are to clean :P then the only other thing is similar to Dlight, try and think of another style for the name, not feeling the banner straight across the shield.

Hi nguyen, sorry for the delayed response.

Liking all the changes so far, the only thing still not changed though is the swords, I would prefer them to be grimy/dirty and not so clean, to me clean swords = no action!

Like the name placment, the font is getting better if still abit to much curve, but overall alot of good improvments happening.

Hi guys,

Sorry for a late response as I ended up having a long weekend!

Thanks to everyone that entered and took part, I have found this very difficult to decide on one fact.

I asked for idea's and a redesign and thats what I got.

Over all and with great difficulty am going to award the win to..

BlueOrange!

As I loved the sharpness, the improvment to the shape, the colour use which is just <3 and the over all look and feel.

Am still concidering (if there ok with it) possibly approaching yourself Dlight for the design, as again I loved the out of the box remake, I loved the dirt feel and the rough effect! with a few tweaks I think it would be something am willing to award the same prize fund for, if your happy with that (let me know )

Thanks for your attempts nguyen, your idea was nice, it was also a fresh style, it just couldnt get to how I thought it should feel looks wise!
