[REQ-LOGO] New logo for a forum, news and blog site - $50

Contest End Date & Time : 8 PM BST 5th May 2009

Size Requirements : 250px x 93px but must be fully adjustable

Color Requirements : Please see screenshot for details: http://sustainabilityforum.com/images/logo_contest_SF.png Not all colors needs to be in the logo but they can be. I am open to new approaches.

General Requirements : This site is relaunching and I would like to have a fresh new logo to go along that. It is important to keep the speech bubbles and possibly the color scheme. But this also depends on the quality of the logo and the innovation of the producer. Please also keep the current name SustainabilityForum.com. This MUST be in it. I also like the way it is being divided at the moment. The design needs to be clean and not too corporate.

Additional Information : The site aims at the “Green and Environmental person” so a bright and new age logo is NOT really appropriate. The current website address of the forum is: http://www.sustainabilityforum.com/forum if you want to have a look around and see what the discussed topics are.

Thanks for making a start J-Man.

Feedback: From these three I prefer the second one. But the "Sustainability" is too large and the "forum.com" too small for my taste. The focus should not be to much on the "Sustainability" but also on the "forum". I also think that the colors are a little to "silvery" and would need to be stronger.

Do you and any other have more ideas?

Those are the colors on your site, but I will change them around a little, as for ideas, that is the only one I have come up with so far, but I'll post a revision l8er...maybe design a new concept as well as make those changes you suggested.

Thanks for the entry. This looks to a little to "boxy" for me. It should also say "SustainabilityForum.com" not "..forums". I also do not like the speech bubbles with the dot in the middle. Can you try a different concept?

Thanks for the different varieties. I not so sure about the shape of the speech bubbles. They look a little strange in terms of size. It also needs to exclude the "s" from forums. The name of the site is SustainabilityForum.com. Please also leave out the leaf. From these four layouts I like the middle logo the best. I also like the colors. Bright and shiny. As we are at an early stage of the this contest do you have another concept?

Thanks for the entry. I like the idea of the bubbles in the background. Why dont we build on that? Can you try different fonts to see what combinations look best? Can you also leave out the grey background? How does it look then? The whole logo looks a little "untidy" can you make it with a better resolution?

Here is my feedback:

J-MAN: I like them. I prefer the top logo with the speech bubbles pointing to the forum. Can you actually redo the first logo (from the top) layout with the second logo colorscheme. I like the colors on the second logo (from the top) more.

Dessano: Thanks for the entry again. I am not so sure about the speech bubbles. They look a little awkward. Can you make the speech bubbles less of a focal point of the logo?

I am looking for some more ideas everyone.
