[REQ] Logo Needed - $30

Hi,

I am looking for a logo for my rap group. Our group name is:

17Squared

Since I am from Seattle, and the other half is from Detroit, I was thinking maybe something like the S be a similiar S to the Seattle Supersonics or Seattle Mariners or something.

Additionally, the D should be a Detroit "D".

I am looking for something simple, either a very very large size or a vector image that can be blown up for promotional items (t-shirts, website, album covers, etc). Preferably a simple design with easy to read text.

As far as color scheme, I am open to ideas. Just please keep it simple (no orange or baby blue, etc). Maybe some blue/green or even black/white/red depending on how "clean" it looks.

I am posting at $30 for the winner, and I'd like a logo within 5 days. If you think these terms aren't very friendly, please post and I will consider extending it.

I haven't posted here in quite some time, so I am open to feedback/ideas.

I like the 2nd one better. I'd like to see one with a little color, and preferably the "S" needs to be some sort of Seattle sports looking "S".

We really want it to show that we represent Seattle and Detroit somehow. I think the "D" definitely does that, and I don't know how a different S/D font would look but I'd love to see that.

All in a all though, its a good looking logo. My website is realhyperecords.com, if you want to take a look at the logo for that. Maybe incorporate the same colors?

Thanks for entering! I really do appreciate it. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of either design.

While I do want a little color, I think that those colors don't represent a hip-hop group well. Also, the most important thing is that it represents Seattle and Detroit (even if its just black and white).

Nicmishra, I like your entry except for the outer layers of the box.

Right now, Sk1990 has my favourite design. SK, can you take that last one you have and just have the text, with no microphone in the background? Also, what about a similar to that, but with headphones instead of the microphone?
