Type of Contest : LOGO Design and Name
Prize : $25.00 or $50.00 via PayPal

Color Requirements : None, but ideally it would be neutral (white or two toned). Think simplicity and branding.
General Requirements : Simple, friendly yet not childish. Facebook, Bebo, Bing, Google (to a degree), Coca Cola and other brands are good examples. Generally neutral in many ways (age, theme, etc).
Additional Information : As said, I need both a name and a logo, with the name being the highest priority (a logo is definitely a need though).
Basically, I need a name that references collections/groups of people interacting with each other in one place. A name that's simple and tasteful like Facebook, MySpace, and other social networking sites have. Obviously "groupsbook" or so wouldn't be taken seriously by even the ones working on it. I need a name that people can remember and reuse, and trendy/brandable.
Also, for name types, don't be afraid of making ones that are acronyms (like Bebo, Blog Early Blog Often) or otherwise hidden meanings (like Google from googol). Creative approaches always work great in branding needs.
For the logo, just remember like I mentioned, simple is more to me. It's the tone, the branding, the personality that matters.
About Price : As you can see, I put two prices up there. The idea is that we're willing to award for both the logo and the name. That said, they do not have to be the same person, if we don't like the logo but like the name, that person gets $25. If we like the logo but not the name, the person gains $25. If we like both, the winner will get the full $50.
