General Requirements :

I'm starting a beef jerky company, Boondock's Jerky, and I'm looking for a clever, creative logo. The idea of the jerky company is the "Boondocks", or backwoods. Something country themed. Maybe a hunter character, looking to incorporate camouflage or some sorts. A good reference character is Wild Bill's Jerky, they have the old character, I'd like something like that but more modern. I'm really open to anything, but a character may be best, as it's named after the owner.
