[REQ-LOGO] - Girls Soccer Team - $50

Type of Contest: LOGO Design / redesign (current logo is below)

Prize: Winner will receive $50, in exchange for full and exclusive rights to the logo designed

Contest End Date & Time: Thursday, June 21, 2pm Eastern.

Size Requirements: Vector.

Color Requirements: Team colors may be navy blue and gold or dark blue and yellow

General Requirements: The logo is for the girls youth soccer team I coach. The team name is "Thunder". I am looking for a clean re-do of the current logo. I may just need someone to make a clean copy of the existing logo with perhaps some color enhancement but will also open the contest for any other ideas for a logo design along a similar theme or one you think would be better for our team.

Additional Information: The logo will be used on our web site (currently a wordpress site under development at ThunderSoccer dot com), in print and on team merchandise like sweats, shirts, hats etc. The "Huntingdon Valley" part of the current logo can be abbreviated as "HV" if that works easier into a new design.

Thanks vsgartworks. Can you close up the "cc" in soccer just a bit? Also, is there a way to make the "N" standout a little more - perhaps an outline on it or a darker shade as well as a little darker gray outline on all the letters? Thanks,

good work on the classic logo. I'll stare at the two you posted and see if something else needs some tweaking.

Since vgsartwork has taken the task of replicating the original logo, anyone else who wants to join the contest please submit either an entirely fresh design or a significant variation of the current one.

Nice use of shading, I wouldn't have though of that. It makes the logo stand out.

All,

I just wanted to say thanks again for the good work. Coaching a youth team is an unpaid job but one I love and take seriously. The kids are great and I want them to have fun and be proud of their team. The logo selected will be worn with pride so again, thanks everyone for your efforts. Keep them coming.

I really like the design. I was wondering if you could shorten the lightning bolt just a little bit as it might look a little more like an "n" if it is just a little shorter.

I think it looks more like an "n" but I'm not sure it is better. That of course would be my fault, not yours. I think your original concept may look better than my requested change but thank you for showing me how it would look shortened.
