Hey all.
Type of Contest : Logo Design
Prize : $30
Contest End Date & Time : Sunday, February 21th, 6 PM PST
Size Requirements : Variable
Color Requirements : I'm pretty open and would like something clean and catchy, with a digg or designbump or arrow type look. Something to show the top/bumped stories. I'd like to stay away from the bee thing. We're going to initially just use the One News premium Wordpress theme so if you could play off those colors, looking OK in both black and white versions, that'd be great.
General Requirements : Transparent background is required so I can use it on my website against solid color backgrounds, I suppose. Just something professional looking, clean, that helps people remember when they want to see some interesting news in various niches, go to buzznup.com. Also, at least initially this will be a sports-themed directory on One News, so if you could cleverly integrate a "Sports!" or "Sports" into the logo, showing maybe that it's just part of a bigger company or something like that, it'd be great. But not totally necessary if it can't be done cleanly.
Looking forward to seeing how clever some of you can be and working with you guys! If I left anything out, please let me know! I will jump on the first "that's it" logo I see, I don't really want to wait the whole period until the deadline, but if that's what it takes, I certainly will and no problem! Thanks a ton!
