Contest End Date & Time : Thursday, May 5th @ Midnight

Size Requirements : Would like to see different sizes

Color Requirements : Find a balance, not too flashy

General Requirements : Logo must contain the following text: "VanderVail Insurance Agency Ltd."

Icon should be relevant and could potentially utilize initials (IE VV)

Additional Information : This logo is for an equine insurance agency that primarily insures show horses and race horses. Try to avoid using western/cowboy themes.

When I said IE I meant the latin term commonly used in English "Id Est" which means "that is" IE is not actual initials to potentially be included, just VV. Also, the visuals are kind of bulky and not exactly what I'm looking for. Good first try though.

I think the idea of making using V shaped horseshoes as an icon was really smart. I'd like see more variations on that theme for an icon.

As for the logo, I'm looking for something more than just the name. Possible ideas (but don't limit yourself to them):

1) Using a picture and/or drawing/silhouette of a race/show horse as a backdrop for logo.
2) Using horse competition themes (E.G. jumping poles or a race track) as a backdrop.
3) Other uses of scenery/theme related items.

I like the one with the red background.The second V in the name must be capitalized ie VanderVail because it is a combo of two names.

Horse with yellow background on shield is best of those.
Second V in name must be capitalizes ie VanderVail because it is two names put together.

I want elegant and classy. Horse images not necessary but OK. Should not be one type of horse. Name must have second V capitalized ie VanderVail because it is two names put together.
Like burgundy background. Horse shoes OK but don't like the gold.

Only the first and second Vs should be capitalized. Name should be one color maybe because yellow does not show up well against background.One of best so far. ANy other ideas, simple ,elegant ?

I like the second one best. try it with initial caps on the second line and period at end of second line ie Insurance Agency Ltd. Any other horse images other than the other one you used? But keep it simple.
