Size Requirements : negotiable - up to 730 wide x 90 high

Color Requirements : open to ideas - site design not made yet, can build site around logo / banner.

The logo will be for the site 911searchbar.com which is not up yet.

The site is part of a trio of sites ... the main being 911searchengine.com, this one for the search bar and a third site to hold a contest soon will be for "free hosting" emergency service related sites at 911city.com.


General Requirements :
The site and search bar are geared towards police, fire, ambulance, search and rescue, corrections and emergency measures.

As mentioned we are offering a free advanced search bar similiar to http://www.advancedtoolbar.com but with a slight angle for emergency services.

Winner will receive $40.00 USD deposited in to a paypal account of their choice.

The bottom right is the one I prefer out of the 4, my only concern it is looks like a moon at night and I am not sure about that. It doesn't jump out at me though...

Glad you could join us again Your designs are nice but very "emergency service" oriented and with this project, I think I am trying to stay away from that. I am trying to push the idea of an advanced tool / search bar that will accommodate all your needs rather then any one... ie: google tool bar, yahoo tool bar...etc...

I may have a button or two on this that are geared towards emergency service personnel but generally these are the features I offer also and what I want to push is the use of a tool / search bar to meet ALL your needs.

VictoriaAnn... just as a heads up, you should try putting a watermark on your work. Even though this is Namepros (:hehe, there might be some unscrupulous people out there who might take your work.

Thanks aznchong, there are actually about 7 tiny watermarks on the logo - I always do watermark.

I don't like them to get in the way of the actual design itself, but it should be noticable enough if someone attempted to use it.

Wow, sorry for the delay in giving feedback, my internet has been down all day at work, so I had to do something very scary.... work! : )

Alright, the designs are starting to get a little more unique which is nice and they are all great.

I like your logo being somewhat simple and a step away from the red/blue colour scheme I am trying to avoid... the logo with the orange box even looks good, just have to alter the size of the box... So nice submission for something a little different and simple...

I like your submission, the detective is a great additon which is kewl, the font and colours are a little less great : ) also if you could put your work on a light background as this is what I will be using on the site, it might bring out the appeal and detail.

I like the box with the Searchbar text and the com across the bottom, even the 911 is kewl but the colours are a little too emergency service and I am trying to stay away from the heavy emergency service theme (lights / sirens) and the obvious blue/red. Great attempt to work with though.

As always the work is great and with the ideas and feedback, I am sure they will all develope quite nice!!!

With the present design, the only thing I would think is to bring the orange box, which may not have even been part of your design... and make it small for the text to fit with a little on the left and right, but I would be interested to see what you can do with the general idea you have... to make it clean and well laid out without being tooo sparce. Looks good but interested to see what more you can develope with it.

I like... I like the triangle shape and glow with the pattered insides. I wanted to stay away from the blue/reds with lights etc... but I prefer the look of yours with the light bar... very snazzy! The only part I would be hesitant with is the text, especially the 9.1.1 - maybe I would suggest you look at font changes and maybe a slightly different layout for your text/fonts... do you think a faint yellow glow outside the gray/silver would work or not?

More great submissions, thanks! The orange one with the dots is pretty good but I think I prefer the blue / grey for its clean and simple look. It took me looking at it a few minutes before I clued in to it being a search bar itself... can you tell it's early morning : )

Looks great as is but can we enhance it with any other ideas?
