General Requirements :
I need a logo designed for amdo.com on which I will be listing my domain names for sale.
I had two logos designed here previously and I am very happy with the results.

To summarize what I need:

a clean design
a serious design
with a few simple graphic highlight
preferrablly two colors similar to american flags, might not that bright
and please don't have .com in the logo

You need to deliver the psd file if the design is accpeted.

Thanks for all the submission. Sorry I missed one of the most important requirement: I like color scheme similar to American flags.

dzynd4u/max99: The design does not look professional.
discented: This is way too simple.
XanderDesigns: Nice try, but I don't like the wave part.
will7: Very interesting design. The bottom edge does not align(AM not aligned with DO), is that intentional? Can you try more variation.
rgr: I don't need vector, just give me a decent sized psd

Interestingly, the grayscale version edges do align, and I found myself comparing the colour and grayscale version to see why they looked so different, and because the grayscale one isaligne, it leads me to believe the colour one is supposede to be aswell.

Also, I should be entering. Just a quick question. You said dyz4ndu was 'unproffesional. Does that mean you're looking for a flat look and not flashy, shiny?

I am not sure why the smaller, grayscale version aligns and the larger one doesn't - perhaps it is the font. Anyway, here are some font variations for you

Thanks for the feedback. Nevertheless, that was my only entry for this contest. Domain related logos aren't my thing it seems. But was bored "waiting" around for a good logo contest and decided to throw out an idea on this one because I just really wanted to make something. Thanks for looking though.

You may want to explain though or post up logos examples that you feel are "professional" looking. That would definitely help out the designers here.

will7: Still all the designs give me a crooked feeling. Graphic part is too small.

Skittles: The graphic part is too simple. No tag line please.

rgr: The graphic part is not striking enough.

HighlandStudios-Joel: Don't quite like the design. Maybe because of the all cap fonts?

AdrianMatte: I don't like the graphic of the first set. And the second set is very difficult for logos.

ZeniusIVanisher: Can you please have AM in one color, instead of only A? I don't like the graphic part, looks quite noisy.

Poison: No tag lie please. The band around the globe is pretty bad, the shape is quite weird. And the globe is too solid, maybe lighter color or variation is better.

de-sign: The second design looks better, but my site is not a search engine. Can you please try something else?

I think it could be due to the 3D rotation I applied to the design - this has been removed and the graphic slightly enlarged
