[REQ Layout + Logo] 150$ - Vacation website

Hello,

After good experiences with a contest here before (http://www.namepros.com/design-contests/125979-website-design-100-contest.html) I have another site that needs a nice design + logo.

The site is Vakantieboeken.nl. It means something like "booking a holiday" in dutch. On this site people can choose a vacation and book it. I just want a design with:
- Nice header with a logo in it.
- Litte menu under the header.
- Menu at the left and right. Menu at the left should be a bit bigger, i want a searchform @ there.
- Body @ middle, where i can place my text.
- Nice footer.

The lettertype and colour is also important to me, so think about a nice lettertype and colour with your design . If you have any other ideas about the design, use them! You don't have to stick to my preferences. Just make a nice design .

Make your design 780 pixels width (or something like that, needs to be good @ 800x600 resolution). I'll slice and code the design by myself, just send me the .psdfile. Think about the watermark !

Contest will end 1 November 2006. I'll pay by Bankwire, Moneybooker (I prefer that ) or Paypal.

Winner will receive 150$ ! (Reward raised !)

I have made an attempt, not sure if it was what you are looking for. I have left a space for logo, because I'm quite tired and cannot tink of one at this moment but will come up with one soon.

Thanks for your attempt, here is some feedback:
- Maybe some pictures ?
- Like the footer, its an bit too 'basic photoshop', if you know what I mean.
- Maybe its an bit too simple.

Here is my first concept. A bit rough, just some placeholders for the text, and to fill up the blank space, since you are going to code and add search forums and what not. Let me know if its in the right directin and your overall feedback! Hope to hear from you soon!

@TheDoc: Well, like the header of www.vakantie.nl, the pictures in it are good (sunny, beach etc.). But I should search more sites when i have time.

@Sammyloski: Thx for your attempt! I really like the logo, but I think you should use some 'lighter' colours and some pictures (sun, beach, you know ).

wearenbot, I like the picture's. But I think you shouldn't use buttons like this, I like a 'plain' menu, just text. Maybe you could use some borders ?
