Type of Contest: Icon Set Design
Prize : $15.00
Contest End Date & Time : June 7th at 12:00pm PST (-8 GMT)
Size Requirements : 16x16 visibility/usability is a MUST
Color Requirements : site colors are yellowish orange, light navy blue, and grayscale. See LYRobot.com for color samples.
General Requirements:
THERE IS NOT A GUARANTEED WINNER - I have selected a winner for all my contests, but I'm looking for effort even if simplistic. The prize isn't that big, sure, but keep in mind that we do want something that could work and not be a joke to use.
Must visually work well at 16x16. Big fancy detail is not required, just a general iconic style that helps define filetypes visually. Creativity is definitely a plus.
Looking for all the general file types to be covered:

jpg
jpeg
png
gif
bmp
tiff
avi
wmv
mpeg
mpg
mov
mp3
mp4
m4a
m4p
zip
rar
tar
pdf
ppt
txt
doc
xls
fla
swf
...and etc (any other files types are welcome and can mean extra prize money). REMEMBER, FOR THIS CONTEST, YOU DO NOT NEED TO PROVIDE ALL FILE TYPE ICONS AT PER ENTRY. BUT IF CHOSEN, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO COVER THE ABOVE FILE TYPES IN A TIMELY MATTER BEFORE PAYMENT IS GIVEN!
Icons are expected to be unique. Any violation in that will be dealt with copyright laws.

Use LYRobot.com 's colors and style as reference, but you are free to do your own. Making each file type a different color or so, or categorized color (like images are one color, video is another, etc) is a nice touch. Just looking for easy to understand icons to help people know why type of file it is before looking at the extension.
