I currently have 5 instances where users have given me reputation points, however even tho the comments are good, the icon is dark (not green).. does that mean I was given "bad" reputation? Like I say, the comments are good tho... just wondering.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
AfternicAfternic
they will be red if bad and green if good.

Maybe it means you have a majority of "0"

(3 bad ones, 3 good ones?) Who knows!! :tu:

Same thing happened to be, except no comments have been left at all, what does the grey square mean?

I received a blue grey one today too from one of the spammers with the comment ( What comes around goes around :( ) so I'd have to assume it's a negative. However the only negative I had before was red, so not sure what it means. I have had plenty of green positives, 1 red, and this is my first blue grey one. :-/

I'm assuming the grey one is a neutral perhaps? One had no comment and the other had a good comment but a grayish icon... so IDK, perhaps it's the default.

Yes but how do you give people it, I have choices of approve or disapprove.

Approve = Green = Positive
Disaproove = Red = Negative

Or do you mean the neatral one?

And is there a way to see who gives you Reputation points? Someone just gave me points but I don't see how to determine the giver, just the thread.

Also, I thought that when you reached 50 pts, you got another green block by your name. I'm over that, but still have just 1 :(

The trader rating determines that (I think)

Also..I just got one of those...no comment was left...what the hell?

I think the gray one means that the one who gave comment has not enough posts in the forum.

This means his comment is shown but is not included in the overall calculation of your reputation standing. Spammer control :)

Comments aren't required for the reputations.

Scorp is right. Those reputation ratings don't affect your score.

Yes, just click your own grey scale and it tells you if somebody gave you a reputation point for that post. :tu: B-)

That's why whenever I give reputation points, I always put my name in the comments, just so that the person knows who they got it from:).
