Replacement for yarpp plugin?

One of my webhosts requested that I disable the Yet Another Related Posts plugin from my sites today as it was affecting the server.

Does anyone have experience with any alternative plugins that will accomplish the same thing without affecting performance?

i use "Related Posts plugin" the simple version aon all my WP websites and it's working like a charme... goodluck
