[Rep Given] Please Appraise My Design

Well, after taking a week or so off from squinting at photoshop, i've just spent the last 5 hours churning out a new design.

Personally I feel this is the best one i've done, or at least its my favourite - so let me know what you think

(Please note: This is not a design for a website I plan to create, therefore anyone who uses the name "ProGamer" for their site, or the pretty common directional pad logo - don't panic, any usage of those assets are purely coincidental and not an attempt to steal your ideas)

I like it for the most part. I would have to say that I think the top banner has to much height. Also the tabs at the top and bottom dont seem to fit as well as they could. Other than that, links, news, and everything else is in good placement. Good job.


(also, personally I dont think that add space makes it look so good, but I know some sites need to have adds. Also the image under it, could be see as too large.)

Nice design, great work!
The login boxes appear a bit long, while the headline or feature review-"short description" appears too short.

No doubt its cool!

Looks nice and well-organized. My eyes are drawn to that screenshot of the guy getting punched. :P

I don't like the shadowing around many of the texts. It makes them look fuzzy or blurred.

I second Kage: the banner is slightly too large or too empty for something its size. Also, the top nav bar (with contacts etc) sorta wrecks the wonderful styling you have down there. I think for a design like this, contact & similar links could be a simple text link at the bottom of the page.

Otherwise, the colours are superb, and the boxing (i mean the boxes, not the image!) is pretty darn spectacular.
