Hi,

Does anyone know how to unregister name servers with name cheap? I changed my DNS when I moved my hosting company's server and I want my old domain to act as a regular domain without the registered NS.

FYI: I'm not talking about simply changing NS1.JOE.COM to NS1.NEWJOE.COM, I'm talking about removing the records that have

NS1.JOE.COM pointing to 111.11.111.1
NS2.JOE.COM pointing to 222.22.222.2

Hopefully that's clear. I can't seem to find any remove option :|

EDIT---

Woo, Nevermind, I emailed NameCheap and they replied pretty quickly. It has to be done manually by me emailing them the NS and them removing it.

Not entirely on-topic but nonetheless: this is another reason I am steadily moving my domains to Enom. Many easy commands at NameCheap have to be done through their email support, the worst of all is the inconvenience of transferring out EPP-based domains. Even GoDaddy has that function (of getting the EPP codes) online with a click of a button. NameCheap's only saving grace is their quick email support.
