Hi

Can a name ordered at namewinner be removed before closing?

Is there a charge for doing that?

I had the first bid (8.75) and was able to remove it. I have no idea if I will be charged.

You can remove a first, 8.75, but once you go to $25 then you can't remove it.

I've had troubles in the past with getting my "unsuccessful" domains removed from the "purchase list" ... so my fear is that in a year or two from now, if dropped again, I'll then be "successful" (and have to pay my outdated offer). So far, no responses to my e-mails. Grrrr.
Anyone else have this problem?

They ain't too swift on removing old bids. I have a number of them that I wasn't the high bidder but since it went over 8.75 the 'remove' option is gone. At this rate I will have several hundred old domains I was out bid on and will never find the ones that I want.

I have said it b4. I hate Dotster and if it wasn't for NW I would have nothing to do with them. I pulled all my names from them about 2 years ago and when the NW names 'age', I will pull them too.

Thanks for the input, Nascar! Glad to know I'm not alone.
I actually like Dotster (the Registrar) ... though I'm increasingly "on the fence" with Namewinner (and I'm aware that they're one, as well). What to do? D-: :p
See you.
