I have had this domain for a while now (HostingTutorials.com) and after a couple of forthcoming projects I shall finally be developing it to provide (as the name suggests) hosting tutorials.

I was wondering how much you think its worth.

You did right. This name has great potential if developed. High $xxx to Low $x,xxx IMO. A hosting company would love a name like this.

I own DomainTutorials.com and WebsiteTutorials.com and I would not sell either at wholesale prices. Tutorial names in key areas can complement a product or service very well.

I agree $500 is very good and generus offer. When you develop it and if it doesn't get high traffic you will hope to get that 500$ again..

I wouldn't let it go for less than $2,000. Someone is going to want this domain very badly. You just need to be patient and wait for them to find you. Good luck!
