A few years ago NP member Haroon Basha asked a similar question about a domain he'd bought EFZG.com that Estibot appraised for 40K?
Fast forward about 2 years and I just hand reg'd Kiss.Domains that Estibot/Epik appraises for 4.2K. So as not to have to pay Estibot for appraisals I use Epik's free valuation that 99% of the time is the same as Estibot.
Rarely do I pay more than $8.49 for a .com domain, but I coughed up $37 to buy Kiss.Domains because I may use it as an alternative marketplace site for some of my own domains.
Generally I review four appraisal services before I pull the trigger;

FreeValuator
Estibot/Epik
I can't tell you how many times Estibot appraises domains at zero when the other three do provide varying appraisals generally far greater than 0. Ironically they appraise KissDomains.com at 0.....what's up with that?
