When I try to reject an offer thru Sedo for one of my domains, Sedo says I have to put in a counteroffer. It won't let me just say no thanks. Am I doing something wrong or is this just the way it works.

Not sure but if you want just counter it with a high price and maybe, just maybe you can become a happy camper. :)

No way of doing it. It's really irritating if you ask me especially since an offerer can cancel negotiations at any time.. Just counter offer with a rediculous asking price. Never know they might be crazy enough to pay it. :)

It was a ridiculously low offer. I shall make an appropriate counter then!

Yes, Make a high counter offer and see how it goes.

I must admit I find sedo's way of doing this rather annoying :td: .

I also think you should be able to go back with just a comment and no counter offer. I think it takes away the sellers upper hand :imho:

How will Sedo make their commission if they just allow you to brush off any offer. It's in their interest to encourage a sale.

Just come back with a counter offer that is so ridiculous that you'd be happy if it was accepted.

I can understand this point but just feel that I am taking the pi** out of the person at the other end :td: Not something I feel comfortable doing.

Set a minimum offer amount, all bids below the amount which you find ridiculous will be auto rejected.

This really sucks, i have a very low offer pending since 2 weeks .. will put a high counter but this is really stupid.

Yeah, I don't think you should have to put in a counter offer in order to REJECT an offer

I also think, in some cases, that the buyer would get a higher price had they not capped it so early?? :td:
