would this destroy it if its not broken? I want to do it, but i wont glue it into it. Ill just stick it in and close it.

I doubt it would harm it, silicone isn't exactly volatile lol (apart from if you digest it, believe me...i know :td:)

I can't see why it would cause any damage to the actual PCB, but if you're worried just glue around the edges.

Hint: You Have A Broken Thumb Drive That Doesnt Seem To Detect In Windows Anymore? This Will Make It Work Again.

Plug It Into A Linux Based Os and format it

reason I say this is because I thought this post was about broken thumb drives and it wasn't lol.
