I think its brandable. Make a reseller account and sell domains thru it?! Maybe blog about domain reg'ing etc. Not sure.. but just sounds quite nice to me.

So I'd say worth a bit of development... get some traffic then if you want... sell it. You'll get a lot more than you would right now.
