hello ,

i tryed to reg a name with registerfly , payment through credit card and i was given this error:We are unable to process this purchase TRANS_S_O. Please contact our risk department at [email protected]


i must say im from romania and never before bought from registerfly.com, though i have a account there where somebody has pushed to me 2 names a while ago, but those names were regged by that person


why am i given that error code? my credit card is visa electron and it has money on it to pay those 0.60 $ for the .info i want to buy

Do as they say and contact them.
Most likely they flagged the transaction as high-risk because of your location (Romania).

Not a fan of either at the moment, but they both seem powerful enough to take steps to protect themselves from a region of the world that has a higher percentage of fraudulent transactions originate from its borders... Don't see anything "impotent" about that.

And registerfly isn't "blocking" you - USA residents have had the same message before, don't take it personally. Besides, for .60 .info's, jumping through a few hoops is a small price to pay.

then why they block 95 guys who would pay through them for domains & other stuff for maybe 5 guys who want to steel ( i talk about paypal)
i can only explain that through their impotence to protect themselves so they block 95 good guys for 5 bad guys :kickass:

Maybe they think 95 bad guy & 5 good guy so make the decision to mark the guys as high risk.
I am from the country that had been blacklisted as well in the past but now it is better. Last time i can even access the site. GoDaddy as an example block all my country traffic. What to do..... face it and goes on with your life.
BTW, you got better registrar out there why choose regfly?

yea mates....but if they block even 1 good guy for 99 bad guys then my oppinion about them is that they are weak and *****
