RegisterDub? Anyone use them for .mobi? Other cheap .mobi registration sites?

I have been using GoDaddy but would like to save the $10 bucks per name and go with RegisterDub. The only thing I worry about is I am of course planning on selling all of my .mobi names and if pushing names will be a pain with RegisterDub. Any thoughts? Or other cheap .mobi resistration sites?

Registerdub is namepros member Inod, Send him a pm with any specific questions or shoot registerdub an email. I dont know their policies but the price is right for .mobi's right now. Cheapest I've seen.

I have one of my .mobis there and when I needed assistance it took 5 minutes for them to respond and fix my problem. So far no complaints at all.

I sent Inod a PM on here a few days ago but no response yet. Thats why I posted here. The price is good just wondering if for resale value how they are with pushing names to others.

I have about a dozen or so mobi's with registerdub.com and about 50 or so with website.in. They are all about the same price and no complaints at all.

Transfering shouldn't be a problem, as it uses the resellersclub registrar (used to be called DirectI) for Mobi domains, as do I.

I just did 9 with RegisterDub. It still says "Pending Registrar Completion" by each name but I assume they just take a little longer then godaddy to make everything official?

I've got about 175 .mobis with RegisterDub (after having paid GoDaddy's prices on another hundred), and they're great for pricing and service. There was a little rough patch a month or so ago while iNod tested out some hired help, but he told me recently he's handling it mostly on his own again now.

Pushes are easy, although they're still ironing out a glitch with being able to change the admin contact info on received pushes. All in all, though, I highly recommend them for .mobi -- I've saved a bundle! (Although maybe I would have stopped investing sooner if it had cost me more...)

My account was updated and 6 of my 9 names went through except for my 3 best ones with overture results. I know they are available but it says "Problem with registration. Contact [Support]".

I do not think they could have scammed me but its not like they were in a row one was on top of list one in middle and one at bottom and they were the 3 random names that got "Problem with registration. Contact [Support]"

I hope this problem can be fixed soon or I am going to freak out if I got scammed.

That has happened to me quite a few times with them, actually...it's a bit scary, but so far it has never meant that I didn't get the name. Send a note to support, but I'm pretty sure that if you check back in an hour or so you'll see that it registered for you all right. They're not scamming you, in any case.

I did not think so but that post was in my shock right when it happened. It still is not fixed yet but I contacted support 3 times once for each name and PM the owner on here. Hope its just a error cause I sure like there prices.

I just registered some names. Some things alarmed me:

- When signing up, the TOS page is not set
- I cannot edit my domains, I get a blank page
- My domains are all parked at Sedo and registered to some guy named David Gershman ???
- Only PayPal as a payment option

I hope this isn't a scam.

That alarms me too! That's me! And I have nothing to do with them other than the fact that I've registered a ton of mobis with them.

They've had a few weird things going on with the contact info, as I mentioned earlier. PM iNod and tell him about my name being on the domains. That's very disturbing.

Otherwise, I've been pretty happy with them...PayPal is the only option listed, but they accept PayPal via credit card as part of that, which many places don't.

You mean 3 sites now, including mine?

I'm sure iNod will clear the outstanding issues once back from his vacation. And definately don't imagine him being a scammer.

I also had an issue briefly with the Mobi whois server, but it was cleared-up same day by our registrar support person.

Be sure to grab those remaining Mobi domains soon, as the promotion is due to end next month.

yes ive had the same problem with reg a number of times and iNod is very fast at clearing them up definatly not a scammer

I don't think I'll be using them anymore. I checked this morning and my domains were still regged to David Gershman, he is even one of my profiles. Who in the world is David Gershman??? The only way I got my whois info sorted is by updating my profile, it wasn't really an update because all I did was hit "Submit" again.
