Hello
I have just taken over a website--fairly basic html site.

There is one problem I don't understand--most users must refresh their page to see any updates--assuming they had accsseed the page previously

Is there some way to program so that users dont have to do that??

Thanks

i think it depends on the users settings also if you convert the pages to php it will aprear quicker on the users browser

There are html headers that control how pages are cached. Just add the appropriate headers (such as page expiration date, last modification date, no-cache) to pages that you want users to refresh for every visit.

<META http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache"> that tells browser not to store your site on thier pc
