At last, after much hard work, all-nighters and cups of coffee, I have nearly completed the site my design firm, RedNerve Solutions.

It is finished apart from the Client Login section and Site Validation (which I will do once I have completed it fully).

I welcome all comments on the site and any bugs / problems you find.

One more thing, I have not spell checked the site either yet (I'm in the process of doing it right now).

I'd also like some comments on the logo as it was recently redesigned :)

Well, that's it! Now for the URL:

www.rednerve.com

I look forward to your comments!

Nice job with the design Will! It loads very fast, has a good color scheme, and looks professional. I like how you made the logo, it looks creative. Your portfolio looks impressive, good luck with your website! :tu:

Great work! I love it... the gray bars on each side of the page are different sizes, maybe I would fix that. Excellent Excellent :)

A nicely designed website.

Grey on white can be hard on the eyes - as shown in your navigation. Maybe a little darker and also you cannot resize pictures via the client browser so an accessibility issue may be there.

Your logo looks quite cool though I am not sure what the square is supposed to represent.

The title of the page does not reflect what page you are on. This could be a good idea to have. So in the title of the browser it would have "(your site name) : About us" which is good for bookmarking.

There is a small black bar at the top of the page. Is this a design feature? It doesn't quite fit with the corresponding sides - that being the grey on the left and darker grey on the right.

Are you going to have a "read more" option available for your news articles when it is done.

When I looked, the login wasn't going as you said.

The footer colour is quite hard to see. Grey may be a soft colour in this context but functionability and accessibility must have precedent.

Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"

If you are building websites why don't you show off your prowess by using XHTML Strict coding?

A favicon of that box in your logo could be a good idea.

Those small boxy images are quite obscure in this context. I think fading into them and not having them so small would be a good idea. The border overpowers the image at present.

hey will, well done with the design, looks really clean and pro! thats a good complement of your work and it does you justice!

I agree with music_man with most things like the gray bar at the top, not a fan. I dont mind the grey buttons though, i think they are very professional and clean.

I've seen some other RedNerve logos that you have to designed and i would have to say this isnt my favourite and unlike the website, it doesnt do you justice, i think your better then that logo.

I agree with the grey bars on the side, they could be fixed and made easy, but to be honest, i didnt notice it untill it was brought to my attention.

But overall a good website for one of the best designers on NP (if not the best).

Stay Lucid,
One Armed Scissor.

I appreciate the comments, music_man and I am thinking about using some of them, but, I do feel they are quite small areas of the site which do not require any major work. I will definitely be using some of them though :)

Also, the site is now XHTML 1.0 (which will be valid soon when I validate the site ;))

None of the links work for me? Should they?

Nice design other than that

Just FYI: You have a typo under IDENTITY DESIGN...pakcage, should read: package.

Nice site!

Did you mean for "Untitled" in the browser header? But I like the layout a lot, great job.

Thanks Scott and vip, it must have gone like that when I chaged it to XHTML :red: Same as for Dan, I had to replace the navigation and must have forgot to add the links, whoopsy :red: :red: :red:

EDIT: Typo fixed, links added and I added the page names to the browser title :)
