I recently converted some pages that were html to aspx to give more flexibility for future includes. They were all PR3 however obviously although the pages are identical in content and appearance, they now have the suffix aspx instead of html. I have set up a meta-refresh on pages named as per the old ones to ensure that the current visitor level is maintained. But I was wondering if this redirection will also forward the PR once google spiders the pages again?

Well, it does not transfer the pagerank from the old .html pages to the new one's. But it will help alot the new one's in getting pagerank.

I would say redirect "permanent" to the new pages.

Make sure your website main pages are linking to the new one's.

Get a few links for some these new pages and then wait. Pagerank 3 is not that hard to get so don't worry about it ;)
