Hey guys,
I'm currently redesigning my website, Hunt Sources. The old design is still what's running, but you can see the new design at www.huntsources.com/new_design.

I realize that the header is aligned differently on the home page than any other page. I also realize the white area has a different width on the home page than any other page.

I am leaning towards doing things like I have it on the home page.

Also bear in mind, please, that I am planning on using buttons instead of bulleted text links over on the left where the main links are.

A couple alignment things are off on the home page, which I'm going to work on too - but I want your opinions on the site, the header, anything that you can think of.

Also, suggestions for the colors I should use for my buttons off to the side would be appreciated.

Initial impression, anything that you want to say... say it.

Thanks so much,
David

use CSS to define fonts and colors better way
use light color for the buttons (beige, off white, etc...)
why there's a dog picture in the header: are they a dog hunting resources??

Thanks for the responses.

As for the color on the buttons, that's what I was thinking of - maybe a light grey.

As for the dog, haha. Basically, one of the major intended audiences for the website is bird hunters (like me), who hunt quail, etc... In order to hunt birds like quail, you have to have a bird dog who can find the scent of the birds and "point" at them. That dog that you see is a beautiful picture of a "point". Bird hunters always like to see pictures of a good point.

Hi there

Overall a nice site, but some suggestions:
- Improve the quality of the "Logo" (Hunt Sources). It looks fuzzy around the edges.
- Beautiful pictures, why not make them a little bigger?
- I wouldnยดt put an input box on top of a quail. Or a deer. Or whatever picture ;)
- For some reason in the second column the padding is lost. Hereยดs is why:
HTML:
<div style="padding-left:10px">
is "broken" by the </br> tag. So you will have to define it again.
- I suppose your clients tend to like serif (Times Roman-like) fonts more...?

Good luck (designing and hunting)
