I wasn't familiar with this term and was inclined to agree with the above appraisals.
On further research however, Google shows 617,000 result pages using 'Rectifier'. The first result shows a company called "International Rectifier" which happens to be a billion dollar company. Maybe there's commercial value to this term afterall?
Dictionary:
Rectifier - Electronics. A device, such as a diode, that converts alternating current to direct current.
Both Google and Overture have companies bidding on the term, up to $.75/click. If wanting to sell, I would research and contact those companies first seeking an end user sale.
