Hi, I'm the domain name owner of jobsfound.co.uk,
I actually bought it yesterday for £6.50 from UK2!

Any appraisals or suggestions as to what on earth I do with it would be extremely appreciated. Would be interested to see what value you put on the name JobsFound.co.uk too!

I understand someone owns the .com version but I thought a small recruitment agency may be interested in JobsFound.co.uk - I always imagined it could be like a short survey of your skills then you press 'submit' and BOOM:

You watch the number of "0 Jobs Found" go up and up to... I dunno a few hundred or something haha, anyway.

Thanks again guys! Its a nice community you have here!

What are you planning to do with it?

Develop into a jobs tool that people use? Or are you just looking to try and sell the domain for a profit?

You could develop it into a "job alert" site, which tracks a number of websites for the job type you are interested in.

well I'm currently working towards a Business related degree at university - thats what made me think I could set up my own 'job alert site' or small recruitment business - but I am very open to selling the domain for a profit

It is not the best combination of keywords in its field but I actually think it has a lot of potential, there are many small and large job agencies in England with far worse names and domains than this that if you were to contact them you shouldn't have any real problems finding any takers :)

I think a couple of hundred pounds wouldnt be out of the question, every larger town or city tends to have at least 10 agencies...so there is no shortage of people to go to :)

You could even make a minisite with noomle.com and get some handy hints for CV's and interview techniques and interviews with agencies on what they are looking for (with a link back to their site) in order to start getting some traffic.

Some will say you should only get a .com but that extension is too big, the .co.uk works perfectly for this domain

Personaly I see no value in this. Even making your own site similar to the one you saw may create copywrite issues.

Good luck either way.

Wow, this domain name will be very valuable when you build this site up! Can't imagine that no one has registered this domain name before. I think it worth about $1000. Good luck.

thanks, any idea how I would go about getting $1000 for it?

I have no idea how to get $1000 for it, but I suppose the usual route would be hitting as many companies as you can find and maybe getting lucky lol

You do have the fact that it is quite catchy going in your favour and the fact that it is easily remembered :)

yeah, by hitting as many companies as I can, do you mean I send sales enquiries to recruitment companies like Monster and Reed? (obviously not these, but other smaller examples)
