Received payment uncleared? (PayPal)

Got a paypal payment today, but it says at the status page: uncleared? what does this exactly mean? tried to look it up at the help page from paypal but all I get is this:

Uncleared: eCheck payment has not yet cleared sender's account

can anyone help me out here?

looks like it has to verify at the sender's end. They must be using something other than paypal. (don't know, but thats what it looks like!)

echeck takes 4 days to clear...so you are not suppose to sent your stuff yet!! a lousy system of pay pal.if you use paypal auto downloads......your stuff would be gone.....

Yeah thats an echeck payment. Takes 4 to 8 BUSINESS days to clear or not...

They generally take around 6 days to clear from my account

I have had it clear in 4 days.. one took 8 days.

in the ipn i am sure it gives it as a status and does not show completed until the payment clears.
