Converting a File to PDF ?

Does any one know HOW TO CONVERT a PAGE-MAKER (PMD) file to PDF ?
I tried to use ADOBE DISTILLER, but it says POST SCRIPT ERROR, what does it mean ?

It means that there is an error with the PostScript file generated from the PMD. Have you tried looking for any bug reports/fixes for PMD files in Adobe Distiller?

no...i trid to install Postscript driver, but gives me error saying printer not detected,as my printer is connected...
