The other part of the equation is: how much is the name worth to YOU? For example, I have Bannen.com, which is worth maybe high xxx or low x,xxx at the most to resellers... yet I wouldn't sell it for even 20K. A lot of people feel the same way about certain of their names. If your dn is dear to you, you need to decide what the absolute smallest amount $ is that you'd say 'yes' to.
My domaining partner, as mentioned above, had a $600 offer for one of her names last week; but it was a very personal name she didn't want to let go of. She was going to ask 10K for it; I said, 'So if they offered you 7K, you'd say NO?' She had to think for awhile, then she decided she would accept 5K for it, but it didn't feel good to accept any less. Keep in mind that this is a name that would be worth maybe $50 on the reseller market. It was an end user, very motivated since his business was based around a product with the same name as her dn. She wasn't trying to scam him out of more cash, she sincerely wanted to keep the name for further development and felt that any selling price would have to be high and really do something for her life, before she'd sell.
-- The buyer finally agreed.
Based on my gut, now that I've checked into your dn and the lady's book, I would think a 'sweet spot' (a little higher than she might want to pay, a little lower than you might want to get, but will still go through as a sale) would be $1200. That's what I'd ask, altering my above estimate with this new information.
If the dn doesn't mean much to you, then the decision is easier, settle for whatever buys you enough beer and ho's for your usual weekend of debauchery
