If there are any geo related companies that are relevant to your domain name, I'd be contacting them about it highlighting the fact that you receive inquires from people looking to purchase homes. Homes/RealEstate.com domains are really great tools for real estate agents when it comes to targeted lead generation. A lot of the time they don't "get it" but if you can show them something like that....you'll probably be able to sell them the domain.

I'm not based at U.S and have zero knowledge about the housing issue.
And I don't know which site suits his needs. This isn't a typo domain, it's EZHomes.
