Hi again guys and gals,

I received a bid from Sedo on one of my domains ...

stream24.net

Only regged the name about 2 weeks ago, and popped it on Sedo, until I could figure what to do with it.

The offer was mid $xx.

I haven't even considered putting a value on this one, as is relatively new, and I haven't had the time yet. Can I please ask for your thoughts and appraisals on this one.

All other tdls (.com, .org, .info, .biz) are regged.

Thanks for your time.

Alex

I think you ought to try to negotiate high $XX for it.

I would say mid $xx. or maybe even high $xx. streaming 24 hours sounds good to me :)
Keep in mind you have to pay Sedo 15% :( in this case your profit is pretty high, so if you decide to sell you made a good deal.

Thanks for the replies so far guys. They are much appreciated.
That 15% sedo thing is a killer isn't it ??

Any other views would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Try to push them for $100 IMO! :)

Then hopefully, you can settle mid- point =)

I would say a price in the area of mid xx high xx is great for this name.

Good luck and keep us posted :)

Quick Update:

I counter offered for $170 and got back a new offer for $100.

Should I accept that, or is it worth trying to push for a little higher ??

Thanks

I'm pretty new to domain selling...but not selling in general. First thing to consider is how high the "first jump" was in his offer. If he went from mid xx all the way to 100 on his first jump, he wants it pretty bad. Taking into consideration what others here are saying for price, I'd tell him 125 and sold. Just imho. Good luck. :$:

I'd make one final offer close to and above $100.

counter offer $150. $50 is nothing to most domain buyers.

Considering the .INFO and .BIZ were registered three days ago by the owner of .ORG, I bet I can guess who you're negotiating with.

I would counter at $150 and see where the negotiations go from there. Best of luck!
