Hi NamePros community,
I just received a high 4-figure offer (USD) on bytabot.com from what appears to be a serious buyer (AI/SaaS startup vibe). The domain is short, brandable, easy to spell, and perfectly positioned for the exploding AI bot/automation space. I’m strongly leaning toward holding 2–3 years for 5–6 figure upside as agentic AI tools go mainstream, but I’d love your experienced takes:

  • Recent comps for similar .com AI/automation names?
  • Hold vs. sell in today’s market?

Of course I would never accuse the OP of engaging in any sort of fraudulent behaviour, heaven forbid, but it is interesting when someone purports to have one or more offers for a domain that is obviously not worth any amount of money. A person, not me of course, might theorise, that a person who does this is trying to manipulate participants on this forum into buying the domain, because obviously a domain with so many offers must be a great investment.

High 4 figure offer on a 20 days old domain
You should keep it and raise the price to high 6 figures

Wow, a high four-figure offer from a serious buyer, on a name registered less than a month ago!

I'd hold for 2–3 years for 5–6 figure upside as agentic AI tools go mainstream.

Welcome to np :xf.smile:

I appreciate the skepticism! It’s healthy to keep a critical eye in this industry. However, the offer is very real—likely driven by the current 2026 surge in 'Agentic AI' and micro-automation. bytabot.com is positioned for the fast-growing AI agent & automation space. Recent comps in the robotics/AI-bot category include OneRobot.com ($310k in 2025) and Mindrobotics.com ($160k). It’s short, brandable, and easy for global teams (US, EU, Asia) to adopt. No manipulation here — just a global investor sharing a real situation and asking for veteran feedback, same as many threads on the forum. Happy to discuss valuation or buyer personas further.

You should ask ai to handle offers too

Thank you @Yanosh! I'm leaning toward holding for a mid-5-figure exit as the 'Bot' category continues to heat up. It’s great to be part of such an insightful community

Thank you @cooljub I agree on the 2026 trajectory for Agentic AI. I'm leaning toward holding for a mid-5-figure exit as the 'Bot' category continues to heat up.
