Reason to Donate NP$

I'm a relatively new Member to NamePros.
I'm also just starting to learn about obtaining NP$.
My Question is...there is an ability to Donate NP$ to Members
is the section to the left of each Thread Post.
I assume this gives me an opportunity to Donate to a member if he/she has been helpful with advice...
Is that correrct
or
Would you donate for some other reasone etc.

That's correct. Some people also sell domains (usually lower value ones) or offer service (such as web hosting, article/directory submission, etc) for NP$.

I am in receipt of your generous gift.
Thank you very much and I intend to do the same in the future when newbies like me are hoping to receive a friendly welcome.

Would you donate for some other reasone etc.

I tend to donate (about NP$30-NP$50) if someone suggests a good domain to register which seems to be standard practice and the polite thing to do (IMHO).
For good posts, I tend to leave 'Rep' points (< click the little tick-cross icons at the bottom of the left panel under the username for this).
