I am requesting the services from an experienced / capable web programmer. They need to be able to write PHP and use the Eve Online API to a decent degree. I have a server (with the necessary databases) to upload to. In case you don't know Eve Online is a game EVE Online - Home and they have an API feed to tap into resourses.
I have a project I would like completing, which is basically a way for miners to sell their minerals to my corporation. I don’t think it’s too demanding, but it’s outside my grasp. I will be uploading some screen shots of exactly how I would like it to look and also providing a link to our site to get a handle on the styling – this is important (CEED.).
Specific pages: Front page / Member Page / Admin Page
- I need a registration API check / login page for members and Admin.
- The members Area would be a form for Captain X to complete, their name would already be picked up from the login along with their tax bracket and the current date / time, they would just need to enter the number of each specific mineral mined and click on “Process”.
- This would then query against a locally cached eve mineral price xml (root/cache/minerals.xml) to calculate their current costs against the volume. However it would also need to take into effect the member’s tax bracket and do another calculation (eg minus 2% / 5% / 10%).
- The display would then show a receipt displaying the mineral total value, the tax amount, and the total minus tax. If they agree to the figures they can press “Submit” and a Contract number is automatically generated to use in game (eg 00012454 – Captain X).
- This would then be added to their record which they can view with all previous contracts submitted – also running totals for each member is wanted. I would also like an ‘accepted’ or ‘pending’ notification next to each record.
- Admin side, I would need to see new contracts submitted from the site, a way to accept or decline. I would also want running totals of all contracts Total / Total Tax / Total Earned (by the miner). I would need member information, with ability to view specific people, change their tax bracket, delete accounts and ban by IP or API.
- Tax amounts needed are: 0%, 2%, 5%, and 10% with new members always starting on 10%.
- On the front page I would like the running totals displayed (for all members) with an area for me to free type and include a picture(s) on how it works.
Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in doing, the time frame and whether you have any similar previous work. Payment would be sent after I have seen a working demonstration. I will want it uploaded to my server, I will integrate a link myself from my main site (yep I know how to do that bit).
Also if this works out well, I may have additional work to send your way.
