As an extremely simple but pleasant to the eye layout, this design will suit. Some points however.

Thanks for your views guys, Xombie thanks for the scren shot. when you say try to connect the colours of the image to the h2 box, do you mean connect it to the "sections" heading box.

you also said extend to match box menu width, do you mean to make the reports menu heading box flush against the "Welcome to Seascape view" heading box?

im not sure about the light grey/blue colour that is behind the header title and the right hand column, might be a bit dull?

The Bad

• The colors don't quite flow together.
• The initial text at the top is quite plain (make a logo).
• The link is the basic link colors (blue/purple), change it to blue or something.
• Don't forget to include a favicon.

The Good

• The image in the banner is nice.
• The navbar is easy to follow.
• The content is layed out well.
• The reports looks good.
