I can sell this domain with 2 more years left on it if I wish.
And renew any time I wish..

It's good till Aug-07 but i can renew today till Aug-09

What they are saying is you can not buy the domain once it has been given up, all I do is give the buyer my account and they change the contact info..
So it will not be given up in any way.

Don't know where that info came from..
As a matter of fact i had that renewed 2 days ago and no problems.

UPDATE:
Just to prove someone wrong, I have just renewed this domain 5 mins ago
for 2 more years, so its now good till Aug-09

Hence after this renewal and that fact that these domains can no longer be
bought after its expired, the asking price is at $4,000 now..

I have a 1 character .tl domain and was also able to renew it after reading this post. I think what they were trying to say to Sam is that once they expire, they can no longer be registered.

TNC Tech, perhaps you or Sam can get clarification directly from nic.tl on this issue.
