Hey,

I'm just after a little advice. :) I'm sure you guys will be able to help. :)

Basically, my PC is getting quite Old, when i want to play some games, they go all jerky, and slow...

So, would upgrading the hardware help?

Currently, i have a Pentium 4 CPU 2.00Ghx processor, and 256Mb of Ram. :red:
Quite bad compared to the latest PC's eh?

So, is it the Ram i would need to upgrade to get games running fine, just stick another 512MB part in?

The newish games i play, do require atleast 256MB of Ram, but more, would improve gameplay right?

Also, i have another question.
I have games that require alot less, then my current PC's spec, and they are still all jerky?
Anyone know why?

Some final notes, i'm not after a super computer, :hehe: I just want it good enough to play games and run big programmers suitable, and non-fustratable (sp) rate. :p

Also, i have all my latest graphic drivers installed. (Nividia GeForce 2 MX)

I'm not gonna get a new Base Unit, i just want to upgrade. :)

Any help would be fantastic! :)

Thanks for reading.

Adrian
