Hi,

RakeReport.net has been in existence since Oct 2006 I believe, and I acquired it in March 2007.

Revenue was only $775 when I took over, but has increased since then:

Sep: $2300
Oct: $3500
Nov: $5100 (although $4500 if you consider a few ads were 3-month buys)

We've built up the forums to have steady traffic and the site is coming along nicely. I'd be curious to see what it might be valued at?

Is this revenue for sure? Cause in that case value would be so high for this domain. However I do not know why this domain is special, but if its generating such revenue then look at Mid$XX,XXX high$XX,XXX.

This revenue is based off of ad sales on the site, which have taken off recently. The problem is that I don't have a steady history of a specific level of profit, so it's hard to judge how the site will perform on a revenue scale.

It's been on the uptick, but I don't know if it will hit a ceiling or just keep plugging away.

So monitor it for a while, or resell now at market. It should yield pretty decent thousands at least.

I've never sold a site before, wouldn't know how to go about it if I decide that route. Any advice/tips?

Such as where I would list the site for sale, how to show traffic/revenue, etc?

Certainly mate. You can try NamePros section "Developed Sites for Sale" or SEDO listings.

Sedo automatically adds traffic tracker I believe. and instructions are listed on their site.

For namepros, just snap an image from Awstats or Revenue and attach them as image files so that people can verify the traffic source. :)

I don't see a section for "Developed Sites For Sale" in these forums? Do you have a link or can you tell me what section it's located in?

Also, my webhost provides Webalizer for traffic stats, I'm not familiar with Awstats. And payments from advertisers have come through multiple channels, including payments directly to pokersite accounts, PayPal, etc. So I don't have one tidy spot to take screenshots of on that end.

Ah, it's that little tab at the top for another section on buying/selling, didn't catch that, blends in with the background and doesn't stand out

Indeed. You need to switch the tab at the top from Discussion to Marketplace. :)

Are you going to post it for sale?

Thanks todalen!

I created an account, but looks like I need to wait for moderator approval. I know plenty of sites where there are people who can purchase a domain for a few hundred or thousand bucks, wasn't sure where to go to sell my higher-priced one.
