Just saw this advertised on TV.

www.quietcomfort.tv

With the exception of .com and my country code .co.uk I now see more .tv sites advertised than any other extension.
I also noticed www.WiganAthletic.tv advertised the other day.

Both Quietcomfort and WiganAthletic redirect to .co.uk sites, but interestingly enough both are using the .TV version to actually advertise their sites.

I would agree with you Stone that i see .tv being used more than any extension (except .com) in advertising.

At least 3,4 times per day i see TV adverts that use ..tv's as their domain, this trend is growing i would say judging by number of ads i have seen on UK TV.

Stoneroses, nice find! Great to have Bose utilizing .tv - great products - and I like Quiet Comfort headsets.

This is a nice trend to see (even if the URL forwards to their .co.uk site). It shows that major companies are aware of .tv, beginning to purchase .tvs and using them in commercial advertising situations. It doesn't take much imagination for them to start using them for providing alternative rich media sites. And of course, they are advertising the .tv extension. This also shows the complementary nature of .tv - its own category which can grow and flurish on its own without upsetting the balance of gtld or cctld. Cheers, CarryOn

I'm seeing quite a few here in Ohio myself. One can't ignore how quickly this extension is becoming a favorite!
