Hey,

A slightly unusual problem, turn your wrist over so you can see your palm and now look down your arm. Do you see a couple of what i would describe to be "cords"? Lift your wrist up if you can't.

Anyway, the question is what are these called? Only asking because i seem to have lost the ability to lift things and i can feel the problem is there lol. It has happened before on a smaller scale and does go away so it's nothing to worry about but I'm just wondering really.

Matt

lol! Nah it's an old sports injury, i had a rather nasty "kick" shall we call it on my elbow.

EDIT:
Heh, I've been reading up on CTS - Can't say i don't have any of the symptoms lol, i had put it down to the aforementioned incident before now but i think I'll see if i can pop to the doctors in the next few days. Thanks miss_chief

It sounds like its a muscle or a pinched nerve. Try messaging the area and relax it. When messaging it, if it feels like a knot (maybe painful) then you need to message it out or have a massagest get it out. You may have strained a muscle that would get better with time and gentle stretching. CTS is also a good possibility. If messaging, stretching and relaxing don't help then I would see a chiropractor or doctor.
