hello,

I am in the process of creating my first web page. What i'm attempting to do is add multiple(different) images and designs to my background, but I'm not sure what is best way to go about doing this. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks so much!

well, if your designing the site with tables, you can give the tables different background colors/images. If your designing all in CSS just give the different divs background images/colors.

wouldn't this slow up your page download time?

Depends on how big the image files are, if they are huge files its kind of silly to use them on the site period, but since they are background images, odds are they are pretty small in size, so it shouldn't make that much of a difference.

yeah, but if presto wants to upload for example ten 7kb background images, then it would slow down right?

so my suggestion to presto is stick to just one background image and then maybe change the background on other pages...well that's just a suggestion ;)
