Quick Favor Needed From Forum Members

My primary website is loading extraordinarily slowly. I've written tech support who say they can't "duplicate the problem".

I would appreciate anyone here visiting the site, and then posting for me how many seconds it took for the site to resolve This will help me determine if the problem is confined to my location, or if it even exists.

its about 20 seconds here in london - u.k
it loads as if its got heavy traffic, maybe the html files are too big or something...

About 20" for me too (NJ).

Could be some network latency issues. If I do a tracert I'm getting some pretty long round trip times (over 200 ms) to a couple of godaddy hosts in the routing path - I don't know if that's normal or not for them. By comparison, checking some of my own sites, I don't have any roundtrip packet times greater than 77ms (and most are far less than that).

Direct ping times to your site are > 100ms, which is also pretty slow.

It would make sense that they "can't duplicate the problem" if they're checking via an internal network and the problem is on the outward-facing side...

15 secs here in Uk using Firefox

Did it used to load faster?
Have you changed any images etc that arn't optimized for the web?

I'm no expert but they do impact page load times a lot.

Oddly it takes 30secs to fully reload the page.

Just a thought.

It loaded for me in about 10 secs. I use IE.

7 seconds using IE, Sky broadband, (Glasgow, UK).

loaded in about 5 seconds or less here in India :D

Site just looks way too html loaded maybe or files are too heavy!!
