Did you attempt to register a domain name that was either "Reserved" or already registered ... but at the time you checked for its availability it seemed to be open for registration (and thus accepting your registration info and payment detail)?!? :gl:

That's not a very descriptive message...

I get failures sometimes when I try to register .biz or .org domains and the telephone number isn't formated just right. If it's not formatted "+1.2345678901" the registration will fail. I don't know if you're registering a .biz or .org but maybe that will help.

well i do not know. I was using the WWD backorder service so i do not know. Also, they so rarely pick up a name and when they do why must this happen.

However, i checked whois and the name is still under my name? Confused!!

Yeah sometimes this also happens with DomainSite for some reason.. when you check for the availability of a domain in DomainSite sometimes its available at DomainSite and then when you check at Register.com or some other Registrar site.. well... it's not available :-/

So yeah... your better off using the Register.com to check if a domain is really available or not :tu:
