Using a suggestion tool a few months ago i put in the name of a site that was about to drop with the .com extension and a number in the 30's came up. Now searching for it again (the name is available) the suggestion tool gives no results. Is this because the address no longer exists and so there is nothing to report, or because type ins for this address have just simply dropped off? I guess my question is if the site is no longer registered will a suggestion tool still bring up results for type ins? thanks!

Which suggestion tool are you using? Overture seems to be a bit behind, some searches still bring up October results. I only use the non-extension specific Keyword Suggestion tool.
Was the search #'s in the 30,000's or the Thirties?
If only in the Thirties, OVT may have registered no searches or type-ins for the reporting period.

A domain does NOT have to be registered in order for it to show up as ovt w/ ext , so it would seem that the type-ins were not of sufficient quantity to be reported this month.
