There are indeed many good domains in the new gtlds but that doesn't mean that every short or 1 keyword domain is good, the contrary I'd say, only a very small percentage is good. A simple method (which is not by any means 100% accurate, it is just simple and quick) to help you pick good domains is to check the search volume of your domains (keyword.extension --'keyword extension'). Generally, the same rules that make a 2 word .com valuable exist in the new gtlds(not saying that keyword1keyword2.com has the same value with keyword1.keyword2 but you get the point).

You are maybe right, if you make domain research in traditional, old school way. But try to find 1 keyword domain "GOLD", "SILVER" or "CASINO", "POKER" and you will see that all extensions are not available. So this method not goes with your research rules.
My opinion single word domain which has big commercial potential, costs more then $0.
Thank you again. I will try sell it through auctions. Maybe I will keep it 2 years. Time will show.

What's wrong seems to be that you can't understand why silver.webcam would be worthless.

There are two imaginary potential buyers for silver.webcam:

1. Someone makes a solid silver webcam and doesn't want to register silverwebcam.com
2. Someone wants to point a webcam at a stack of silver and stream it 24 / 7, and they also don't want to buy silverwebcam.com

The thing you think makes it valuable - the word silver - doesn't match up with webcam. Someone selling or looking to buy silver as business will not use a .webcam extension for it, because their customers would never take them seriously if they set up a website at silver.webcam. They'd be better of registering "webuyandsellsilver.com" instead of silver.webcam.

I want you understand me right, please don't fight with me. Only because I asked people, BUT meanwhile I have another idea of method of estimate new generic domains. Okay?

If you think anyone can't have own opinion, it's bad. It's not wrong, but it's very bad for you, for example. You want that I loose my mind, if you tell me something. You have your point of view, I have mine. I think, I can ask people help me to understand how much domain may cost. I appreciated every person who answered me. But I can't accept their argument. The reason? The reason is methods they use. They showed how they appraised domain. Can I say them thank you and follow to my method, which is I think such domain could get more then $0?

I only want to ask you do you believe if someone buy silver.rent, he will offer to his visitors rent silver coins or plates?

Find a business who sells silver web cams, and it'll be a profitable domain, but it's way too niche. Like always, .com is king.

The problem is that just don't get it, and you have an incentive - protecting your point of view - to not get it no matter how many people tell you that you're wrong.

With the new gtlds you generally need to match the left and right side to have real value. The more specific the right side word - .webcam in this instance - the more important it is for it to match.

Even thought .xyz is a bad extension, it would be a better extension than .webcam for the world silver.

Nobody other than someone who is deluding themselves will think .webcam is an acceptable gTLD for any type of silver business or website not having to do specifically with a webcam.

Maybe you'll think this is harsh, but you should learn it sooner than later: If you can't understand why silver.webcam is a bad domain AND you refuse to listen when almost everyone tells you that it's a bad domain, then domaining probably isn't for you.
